Maintenance and Repairs
If you believe that something in your room needs to be repaired, have your RA submit a maintenance work order. We believe your request should be followed up in a timely manner, so if nothing has been done to correct the situation within a reasonable time frame, please notify your residence hall director.
Parking areas for residents are adjacent to each of the halls. All parking areas are well-lit and patrolled nightly by University Police. All student vehicles are required to have a University parking sticker. Parking stickers are available from the University Police and are issued at the beginning of each academic year.
Every hall maintains a supply of refrigerators for resident rental, which are issued on a first-come, first-served basis. Cost for the refrigerator rental is billed directly to your student account. If you wish, you may bring your own refrigerator as long as it is no larger than 2.7 cubic feet.
ENMU University Police make nightly building checks with the front desk staff and are available to handle any disturbance or concern. For your security, you should keep your room door locked and your keys in a safe place.
All halls have limited access doors that promote security. All exterior residence hall doors are locked 24 hours a day. If you are locked out of the building without your ID card, you will be required to show a form of identification to verify that you live in the hall.
Tampering with any residence hall lock or door will result in immediate University discipline which may include immediate contract termination, University sanctions and/or suspension.
There is no storage space available in the residence halls outside of the student rooms.
Each room is provided with local telephone service operated by the University. The cost for the telephone service and maintenance is included in the cost of the room.
