ENMU provides students with a network account which allows students to use email, register for classes, check your schedule, view your grades, and view account balances as well as the opportunity to create your own personal web account. Wireless hot spots are located in most buildings on campus. Student housing has complete wireless coverage.
Information Technology Services provides resources and consulting services that enable students, faculty and staff at Eastern New Mexico University to make maximum use of the appropriate information technology tools in their learning, teaching, research, outreach, administration and support activities.
All students must adhere to the University Computer Use Policies and Procedures. Failure to abide by the guidelines in the policy shall subject any user of the University computer system to sanctions, which may result in denial of computer account privileges, and/or disciplinary action, which could lead to expulsion from the University, dismissal from a position or legal action.

Email and Blackboard accounts are created automatically when students are admitted and must be activated to get username, password and email address.
Click to learn how to activate your account online, or if in one of our computer labs on campus, double click the "activate account" icon. Activation is only necessary one time for the entire time enrolled at ENMU and you will not be able to access the information again, so print the information given. If you are not given your account information call the Helpdesk at 575.562.4357.
Contact the Helpdesk at 575.562.4357 or go by the UCC computer lab desk to have your email password reset. The student will be required to provide their ID card. Once the account information has been verified, the email password will be reset to default student ID number. At first login, student will be required to change email password.
Eastern's ITS professionals will never ask you to verify any of your account information by email. If an email is received asking for personal information (such as log on username and password) please, do not respond!
Instructors for both online and on campus courses use Blackboard to keep in touch with their students.

- All your classes should be listed. Click on the title to open the specified course homepage.
If you experience any problems, contact the Blackboard Helpdesk. Blackboard has a maintenance every Friday from midnight to 4 a.m. in which you may experience problems.
The Blackboard Helpdesk is closed on Sundays, holidays and during University closures.

Web accounts can be obtained by students and employees of ENMU. The pages are published on the net. The account requires an application which may be obtained here, or at the University Computer Center Lab Desk. The terms and conditions of this account can be found on the Personal Web Page Agreement Form, or call the helpdesk at 575.562.2277.
If a User is a University approved and recognized organization, then the organization should designate an individual sponsor to be responsible for content for their Portal community. The individual sponsor must be a faculty or staff member and will request a portal community be created. MyENMU Portal community set-up requires an online application which may be obtained in the MyENMU Portal in the faculty and staff forms section. If you have questions about creating a MyENMU Portal community, please contact firstname.lastname@example.org.
For personal computers, assistance from video tutorials pertaining to ResLan click here or during ResLan hours–for approximately six-weeks in the beginning of each semester at Bernalillo Hall, Room 130, schedules will be posted or call the Helpdesk at 575.562.4357 for an appointment.
