Title V—Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions

The ENMU/CCC Title V—Developing Hispanic-Serving Institutions cooperative project is designed to create strong foundations for students entering both institutions and a seamless transition to four-year degree programs for Hispanic, low-income and other underrepresented students in the communities that the partner institutions serve.

The project leverages institutional experience serving underrepresented groups, delivering distance education and collaborating between institutions.

Our goal is to increase the partners' capacity to provide access to higher education and to promote completion of degrees by underrepresented student groups, particularly in the area of teacher preparation.
