Be a Teacher ProgramThe purpose of the Be a Teacher program is to provide freshmen and sophomores at Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) with strong foundations in information, technology and community to assure that they achieve their goals of becoming teachers. The Title V Be a Teacher Program provides information to freshmen and sophomores about education majors available at ENMU. It offers small group sessions to help students prepare for EDF 222 (a required course that introduces students to the education profession) and to the New Mexico Teacher Assessment tests. In addition, it provides students with a community of others who share their interest in education. If you are interested in becoming a teacher or just need more information on teaching as a profession, contact Vicky Medley. Vicky Medley |
