  • What is an SI Leader?

    SI Leaders are not teachers assistants. Leader responsibilities are limited to aiding students in academic studies and maintaining the academic support system within the course.

    For faculty interested in participating in SI:

    • Identify an SI leader to direct study group sessions for your course. This student should have recently earned an A in the course.
    • Provide guidance to the SI Leader. Pass along study materials, if applicable, and talk about critical content that needs to be stressed in SI study groups.
    • Respond to the SI Leader’s questions and concerns. Selecting an SI Leader promotes open channels of communication and information about your class content and teaching method
