If you have an Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences (AAS) with a technical or vocational major from a Council for Higher Education (CHEA)-recognized organization, you can major in applied arts and sciences at ENMU. An applied arts and sciences major's time frame for completion varies with the individual, but in general, the BAAS degree can be completed in two years.
The Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences PFP concentration is designed for you if you are working in or would like to work in the areas of financial planning, accounting, insurance, or banking and investment. A financial planner is much more than just an investor. A financial planner should be familiar with budgeting, planning for retirement, saving for education, managing taxes and managing insurance coverage.
The extensive PFP curriculum helps you understand the complexities of the changing financial climate, and allows you to make the right recommendations to your perspective clients. Once you complete this program, you will be able to sit for the Certified Financial Planning® examination.
Before you can take PFP 410, the capstone course, you must complete the six 300-level courses. The PFP 300 level courses do not have to be taken in sequence. All courses must be completed with a grade of "C" or higher.
