Use of Sick Leave Suspended

The use of sick leave for eligible staff is suspended, beginning March 23 until further notice.

Timesheets will be processed as normal and should include regular hours, vacation and administrative leave. Administrative leave can be used in place of sick leave as well as for individuals with the following circumstances:

  • Childcare Issues
  • Ongoing Medical Conditions
  • Quarantine or restricted access to campus because of travel
  • Sick or FMLA leave

NOTE: Because of the extraordinary circumstances surrounding the COVID 19 Pandemic, supervisors and employees are responsible for ensuring operations continue. Employees must understand documentation may be required if there is suspected abuse of the sick leave suspension.
