University Mail Services Adjusted
Email, March 20, 2020
Due to COVID-19 and limited access to University buildings, the University Post Office (UPO) will no longer be able to deliver mail to each station effective Monday, March 23, 2020.
The UPO will assign each station a UPO box. A station representative will need to come to the UPO and pick up keys (two keys will be available for each box) to the station’s box. It will be up to the departments to coordinate the station’s representatives.
Mail will normally be posted to the boxes by 11:00 a.m. Tuesday – Friday. On Mondays posting to boxes may be later, depending upon the delivery time from the down town postal service. The UPO boxes are located in the UPO lobby (Lea Hall) and can be accessed Monday through Friday 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m.
UPS and FedEx will be delivering departmental packages to the UPO. UPO staff will contact departments when a package arrives. Please note that packages must be signed by a representative from the department--be sure staff brings their University ID card. The package window will be open from 9:00 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday thru Friday.
If you have questions, please contact the University Post Office at 562-2633 or send an email to [email protected].
