ENMU's Bachelor of Business Administration degree provides a personal financial planning emphasis so you can earn your financial planning certificate. Once you complete this degree program, you will be able to sit for the Certified Financial Planning® examination.

The BBA, Emphasis in Personal Financial Planning (PFP) emphasis is designed for you if you want to earn a bachelor's degree and are planning to work in the areas of financial planning, accounting, insurance, banking, and investment. Financial planning means much more than just investing. A financial planner should be familiar with budgeting, estate planning, insurance planning, insurance planning, retirement planning, saving for education, and tax planning.

Our PFP program and business curriculum helps you understand the complexities of the changing financial climate and allows you to make the right recommendations to your prospective clients.

Financial Planning Certificate Program-Specific Courses

You can find additional information about our Bachelor of Business Administration, Emphasis in personal financial planning and Certificate Program in Personal Financial Planning, including the courses you will take when you're a financial planning major at Eastern.

ENMU only issues a "Certificate of Completion" that enables you to sit for the CFP® exam. Our personal financial planning BBA degree program does not award the CFP® certification. CFP® certification is granted only by Certified Financial Planning® Board of Standards, Inc. to those persons who, in addition to completing an educational requirement such as this CFP® Board Registered Program, have met its ethics, experience and examination requirements.
