Cost should not be a barrier to high-quality education. We encourage all qualified students to apply to ENMU, regardless of their financial means. ENMU is committed to working with you to support your Greyhound's educational goals.
Tuition and Fees
Tuition is a charge that helps defray the costs of the education offered at ENMU. Student fees are added to the basic tuition rate to enable us to offer student-related services such as student health services, student government, Associated Student Activities Board and other student activities. These fees are mandatory. Tuition and fees are charged according to the number of credit hours your Greyhound is taking; auditors (those enrolled in a course for no credit) pay the same as they would if they were enrolled for credit.
You might be surprised to find out how much financial aid your Greyhound can receive, regardless of your family's income level. You won't know what you're eligible for unless you apply! The application process begins Oct. 1 prior to the year your Greyhound plans to enroll; your Greyhound must apply early to receive first consideration for awards. The first step is completing the Free Application for Federal Student Aid (FAFSA).
Scholarships are a type of financial aid, in the form of a grant (a sum of money or other aid) that does not have to be repaid, available to assist your Greyhound as they pursue their studies. ENMU offers a variety of scholarships to Greyhounds.
Helpful Scholarship Links
A wide range of campus employment opportunities is available for your Greyhound. Positions range from those subsidized through work-study to those open to all Greyhounds, regardless of work-study eligibility. Please keep in mind all Greyhounds who want to work on campus (work-study or student hire) also need to have a FAFSA on file prior to starting on-campus employment.
Payment Information and Options
Most ENMU Greyhounds combine a variety of financing and payment options in order to manage their expenses. Each semester, payment arrangements must be made by a specific date; the last day to make payment arrangements is always noted in the Academic Calendar.
ENMU offers an online student account management/payment system at enmu.edu/OnlinePayments. This payment system is also accessible through the MyENMU Portal (after signing into the Portal, your Greyhound should click "Financial Resources" then "Pay Bill"). The online payment system allows Greyhounds to:
- Make payments
- Enroll in a payment plan
- Set up direct deposit of refund checks
- View current account activity
- View and print billing statements
ENMU offers an online payment plan that divides the account balance into four equal payments. The due dates for payments are as follows.
Fall 2019 Payment Plan
- First payment due: Aug. 27
- Second payment due: Sept. 27
- Third payment due: Oct. 27

Third Party Payments
Billing information must be provided to the Office of Student Accounts, Administration Building (ADM), Room 114, 575.562.2615, by the last day to make payment arrangements (confirmation/payment deadline) for each semester. The last day to make payment arrangements is always listed on the Academic Calendar.
Financial Aid Payments
The initial disbursement of financial aid and scholarships will credit student accounts after when Drop/Add ends. If your Greyhound's account is overpaid, refund checks and direct deposits will be processed shortly thereafter (usually about three business days following the Drop/Add date listed in the Academic Calendar).
If you have any questions regarding student accounts, payments or billing, please contact Student Accounts at 575.562.2615.
