The Department of Communication's broadcast production major offers you the opportunity for advanced study and hands-on experience in the technical side of radio and television broadcasting. When you major in broadcast production at ENMU, you learn core skills that all producers need to work in television and Web-based environments, and you receive additional training to prepare you for new challenges and opportunities that lie ahead for this dynamic field. Our program is unique in that you'll receive one-on-one attention from professors and work with professional studio equipment during your very first semester of coursework.
Courses include: Audio Production, Beginning and Intermediate Television Production, Editing, Documentary Writing and Production, Directing for Television.
Service and Mutual Interest Organizations
Students have the opportunity to work with The Chase (student newspaper), HoundBytes (online magazine), KENW-TV, various CFA-related podcasts and organizations, as well as other on-campus organizations and offices.
