Eastern New Mexico University (ENMU) is thrilled to host the annual ENMU Piano Day, co-created by Prof. Emerita Cheryl Pachak-Brooks and Prof. Dr. Marina Bengoa Roldan.
ENMU Piano Day is an inspiring opportunity for young pianists (Grades 1-12) to showcase their talent and receive professional feedback in a supportive environment. Entrants will perform two contrasting solo pieces. Memorization is highly encouraged but not required. Entrants must bring original copies of their music for the judge and themselves if not playing from memory – no copies are allowed except for music that is out of print or purchased online. Measures should be numbered.
Schedule of Events
Saturday, April 04, 2026 at 9am (Mountain Time) | Buchanan Hall Music Building (MB)
Entrants in each level will perform two contrasting solo pieces. Memorization is highly encouraged but not required. Entrants must bring original copies of their music for the judge and themselves if not playing from memory – no copies are allowed except for music that is out of print or purchased online. Measures should be numbered.
All levels, from beginners to advanced students, are welcome. The maximum age for participation is 20 years old. Each performer will receive written feedback and a rating from adjudicators.
A reception will follow the performances of each level, offering a chance to celebrate and connect with fellow musicians.

*Eastern New Mexico University recommends that students under the age of 18 be accompanied by an adult at ENMU Piano Day. ENMU will exercise all reasonable caution to provide a safe environment but cannot guarantee the safety of all entrants.

Performances will take place in the beautiful Buchanan Hall on the ENMU campus on Saturday, April 04.
Registration Fee - $25.00 per student
Deadline to register and pay for "ENMU Piano Day" is March 20, 2026. Cash, check or credit card payments are accepted.

- Submit your non-refundable $25.00 per student fee and registration form(s).
*Release Form: Parent/Guardian will be asked to sign a release form for their student upon check-in at the event which covers copyright, photos, and personal liability.

ENMU Piano Day Adjudicators
