ENMU Opens/ Resumes Regular Operating Hours On Tuesday, Jan 27

Effective Tuesday, Jan 27, the Eastern New Mexico University Portales campus will reopen and return to regular business hours and class schedules.

Safety Notice: Please exercise caution when traveling to and from campus. Roadways may still contain patches of ice and snow. Students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to allow extra time for their commute and drive according to road conditions.

College of Education and Technology

The ENMU College of Education and Technology (CET) has the primary responsibility of preparing you to be an effective education professional. The CET is also home to related programs such as agricultural sciences, animal and dairy science (including pre-veterinary), culinary arts and recreation management

The CET is the second largest college at ENMU, and has the largest graduate enrollment.

The mission of the CET is to prepare students to become professionals and educators who are collaborative, informative, reflective decision makers and are sensitive to diversity among individuals. Faculty members within the CET strive to provide you with the best education experiences through coaching, cooperative and collaborative projects, close student-faculty relations, labs, and innovative classroom methods and materials. The CET is committed to the effective use of technology, distance learning and off-campus sites: you may choose one of nine completely online degrees in the graduate program. The CET maintains strong relations with public school personnel in the area as well as with the Child Development Center located on the Portales campus.
