ENMU is affordable, but with additional financial assistance, you can make sure you have the lowest student debt possible for your situation. ENMU Foundation Scholarships
The ENMU Foundation offers a variety of scholarships for students of every level (incoming freshman, current/transfer students, and graduate students). View eligibility requirements for all ENMU Foundation Scholarships (ENMU Foundation Scholarships PDF) and use the instructions below to apply.
The ENMU Foundation application process is open for 2021-2022 academic year scholarships. The deadline is Monday, Feb. 15, 2021 at 11 a.m. (Mountain Time).

Boundless Opportunity Scholarship
Energy Rubber Group (ERG) Veteran Scholarship
Must be sponsored by a member of the ERG.
Fleet Reserve Association (FRA) Education Foundation
Awarded to Navy, Marine Corps, and Coast Guard personnel and their families.
Military Order of the Purple Heart Scholarship
Awarded to recipients of a Purple Heart who are also a member of the Military Order of the Purple Heart, or their spouse, child, step-child, adopted child, or grandchild. Spouses, widows and direct lineal descendants of Purple Heart recipients listed as killed-in-action or died of wounds may also be eligible.
Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship Programs
A Sentinels of Freedom Scholarship is a two-to four-year scholarship that focuses support in education, housing, mentoring, employment, career and networking assistance, and financial planning to severely wounded or injured post 9/11 veterans who are pursuing their higher education after transitioning from the military.
Application Deadlines: Applications are due June 1 for fall school enrollment and Nov. 1 for spring school enrollment.
Sentinels of Freedom Merit Based Grant
The SOF merit based grant is a one-time monetary award of $1,000 to be used for educational purposes, such as books, computers and tutoring expenses. (If you are already receiving a full SOF scholarship, you are not eligible for this program, see SOF FAQ for more information about the SOF scholarship programs).
Eligibility: Member of any branch of the armed forces, active, guard, or reserves who has been wounded or injured in a service-related event post-9/11; this includes combat-related injuries, training accidents and non-physical injuries.
- Received a permanent VA disability rating of 30% or higher as listed on your VA Rating Statement
- Have received an honorable discharge
- Must be enrolled in full-time post-secondary education or vocational school (Must be a VA approved school)
- Have completed at least two years of higher education with a minimum 3.0 GPA
- Highly motivated to reach personal, educational and career goals
- Must be willing to actively engage with SOF
Application Deadlines: Applications are accepted at any time, but there are two primary admission deadlines: April 1 and Sept. 1.
Tailhook Educational Foundation (TEF)
Awarded to children/grandchildren of individuals who are serving or ever served as a Naval Aviator, Naval Flight Officer, or Naval Aircrewman (U.S. Navy/U.S. Marine Corps/ U.S. Coast Guard) and individuals who have ever served on board a U.S. Navy Aircraft Carrier in ship's company or the Air Wing.
Tillman Military Scholarship
Awarded to active-duty service members, veterans and military spouses who are committed to a life of service in and out of uniform. Contact our VA certifying official at 575.562.2175 if you are interested in applying for this scholarship.
Tillman Military Scholarship Information
Veterans United Foundation
Awarded to active duty service members, veterans, surviving spouses or children of fallen service members as well as active duty and veteran dependents.
Marines' Memorial Tribute Scholarship
Awarded to US Military personnel who have transitioned from Active Duty to reserve or civilian status within the past 3 years. Additional scholarships are available for members of Marines' Memorial Association.
The Hammer Family Scholarship
Awarded to US Military Veterans who wish to study in the fields of Math, Statistics, Chemistry, Physics, or Engineering. Additional scholarships are available for members of Marines' Memorial Association.
Student Veterans of America
Together with corporate partners, SVA offers a number of scholarships throughout the academic year.
AT&T U.S. Military Veterans' Scholarship
Offered to veterans of any branch of the United States Military.
