The silent and live auction will be hosted by Kendall Terry of All-Star Auctions.

Admission is free and open to the public.

"Chamber Singers are singing a very diverse set of choral repertoire, including a Raga (Indian music) titled Desh, three Latin motets (by J.S. Bach, Richard Dering, and Karl Jenkins), and a wonderful Spanish part song by Z. Randall Stroope, conducted by senior music education major Colton Hardy," said choir director Dr. Jason Paulk. "Joining the choir for the Bach "Sanctus" will be the trumpet trio of Dr. Fairfield, Taylor Shaver, and Christopher Smith.

According to Dr. Paulk, University Singers women will begin the second half of the program with a set of their own, including: a very early polyphonic setting of Nicolai Presulis (French conductus), How Can I Keep from Singing (G. Walker), and Sigh No More Ladies (V. Williams). The men will perform music from the men's choir festival at ENMU hosted on Sept.12, including Confirma, Hoc deus (Gallus), Things that Never Die (Dengler), and Sound Off (Rardin), with percussionists Dustyn Crane and Stephen Yung.

The combined choirs will perform a movement from Haydn's "The Seasons," Ubi Caritas(Sakamoto)—conducted by senior music education major Maggie Gomez—Wayfaring Stranger (Engelhardt) with Zane Burden as tenor soloist, and Ride up in the Chariot with O'Shaun Estrada and Lindsey Bartlett soloists. The choirs will be supported by Mrs. Kayla Paulk on piano.

"This will be so much fun. We've had some amazing donations of gold/sterling silver jewelry (Woody's Jewelry), hand-made walking staffs wood burned with hymns on them, an Ibanez Gio electric guitar, artwork by local artists Jon Birdsong and Pat Weekly, and even a vintage Jukebox pre-loaded with 99 CDs. Folks will need to come early in order to get a seat and begin bidding on the silent auction items.

"It's going to be an enriching evening. You will not want to miss this concert," said Dr. Paulk.
