PORTALES, NM – June 24, 2021 – Current Senior Associate Athletic Director from Upper Iowa, Brock Wissmiller, will be visiting ENMU-Portales on Friday, June 25, as the third candidate to be brought on campus for Eastern New Mexico University-Portales' director of athletics search.
The campus and Portales community are invited to a "meet and greet" with Wissmiller at 8:30 a.m. on Friday, June 25, at the Courthouse Café, located at 109 S Main St. Then, at 9:30 a.m., Wissmiller will be available to speak with campus and community members at ENMU-Portales in Greyhound Arena, Room 7.
During Wissmiller's tenure at Upper Iowa University, he supervised men's basketball, men's and women's bowling, cheerleading, e-sports, men's soccer, softball, and women's tennis. Wissmiller has also helped to raise several million dollars for Upper Iowa University Athletics through their fundraising efforts.
Prior to his time at Upper Iowa, Wissmiller was the director of marketing/assistant development director/director of the leatherneck sports network at Western Illinois University for two years. He also served as the video and new media coordinator and the media services graduate assistant for two years.
Wissmiller holds an MBA in Organizational Development from Upper Iowa and a M.S. in Sport Management and Bachelor's degree in Broadcasting from Western Illinois.
