Our Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences(BAAS), Concentration in Electronics and Engineering Technology (EET) (Computer Engineering) will help you use your prior academic experience to complete your bachelor's degree.

Our EET Computer Engineering BAAS concentration is designed to provide an in-depth knowledge of hardware and software design that includes the following areas: digital design, digital electronics, computer architecture, computer programming, programming paradigms, electronics.

You may also focus on communications, control, renewable energy, and circuits as an elective area of specialization. The purpose of the BAAS with an emphasis on computer engineering technology programs is to train engineers to design, develop and implement modern computer-based applications.

Depending on the core upper-level EET courses you have completed, graduates may pursue careers in software design and hardware development for computer systems, embedded microprocessor or systems, designing, testing, and maintaining digital electronic circuits and systems, VHDL programming and applications, applications of computer and microprocessor in system design development, testing and maintenance of electrical and electronic circuits, renewable energy technology industry, industries requiring PLC operation and programming, or supervising and maintaining electronic equipment such as communication systems.

If you have an Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences (AAS) with a technical or vocational major from a Council for Higher Education (CHEA)-recognized organization, you can apply the education experience you already have toward your bachelor's degree. An applied arts and sciences major's time frame for degree completion varies with the individual student, but most complete the BAAS program in two years. Our Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) program gives you credit for your past academic experience.

Do I Qualify for This BAAS Program?
