Biology Undergraduate ProgramsEvery undergraduate student must complete 46–50 hours of general education requirements in addition to 23 hours of biology core courses and at least eight hours of elective course requirements (in consultation with academic advisor). BiologyYou can major in Biology in a broad sense or you can major in Biology and specialize in a certain field by taking an emphasis in one of the following areas:

Wildlife and Fisheries ScienceWe also offer a degree in Wildlife and Fisheries Science that meets the requirements for you to certify with the Wildlife Society and The American Fisheries Society. View the Bachelor of Science in Wildlife and Fishery Sciences degree plan. Teaching LicensureIn the Biology program, you can also earn your natural science secondary teaching licensure.
