Admission Information for Active Duty Students

ENMU is proud to serve Cannon AFB and military families. To be considered for admission, complete the following:

How to get admitted for Active Duty Students (Military dependents see below)

  1. Apply for admission - there is no application fee. Apply online or download an application. (Make sure to indicate on the application you are active duty.)

  2. Military Waiver (Grants in-state tuition for active duty currently stationed in NM – also applies for spouses and dependents of those currently stationed in NM.) Send signed waiver to Office of Enrollment Services.

  3. Send copies of transcripts from all colleges/universities attended to the Office of Enrollment Services.

  4. Once application for admission is processed you will receive an acceptance letter in the mail.

  5. Contact the Advising Center (575.562.2338) to set up a degree plan and register for classes. Degree plan is required for tuition assistance.

  6. Apply for Tuition Assistance.

  7. Send copy of approved TA to:

Note: Transcripts are needed for advising purposes not for admission to the University.

Dependents, go to the freshman or transfer students page. Also be sure to fill out the Military Waiver which will grants you in-state tuition rates if your sponsor is stationed in NM.
