Job Summary: Support the Project Manager in all functions. The practice manager will work collaboratively with providers in the MHCD primary care clinic to ensure efficient daily operations. The manager will oversee practice operations, work flow and efficiencies as they relate to the policies and procedures that are in effect for the clinic. This position requires flexibility and critical thinking.

Qualifications: Bachelors Degree
5 years work related experience is preferred.

Duties: Will coordinate communication with the boarding homes to ensure that med orders are received timely.
Is responsible for monitoring supply, stocking exam rooms with supplies and ordering supplies from the correct teams. Maintain a system of tracking supplies ensuring cost effectiveness.
Identify patient protocols that minimize cost management that do not jeopardize patient care.
Will have some knowledge of insurance claims and procedures.
Will be results oriented and function successfully in a team environment.
Coordinates maintenance, repair or ordering of equipment for primary care.
Triage and coordinate communication with case managers to providers to address patient needs. This includes screening calls, taking complete and accurate phone messages that direct callers to proper outcome and can identify emergent situations to alert the proper staff as needed.
Maintains awareness of waiting room dynamics and alerting supervisor of waiting room issues.
May provider coverage for front desk staff which includes answering phones, completing front desk duties and providing effective customer service to patients, visitors and other staff members.
Monitor scheduling, reminder calls and schedule of patients for Denver Health, MHCD and Epic/Exempla.
Maintain positive interpersonal relations with fellow employees, patients and other staff within the organization.
Observe and make suggestions regarding work flow to improve processes
Will attend required meetings and report to work on-time. Also be available to work overtime if needed.
Is willing to accept supervision and work well with others.
Be well groomed and dressed appropriately for the job and its duties.
Must be in compliance with drug and alcohol policies as dictated by MHCD.
Demonstrate the ability to communicate clearly, have a willingness to learn and concentrate and completing assigned tasks timely.
