If you are interested in working in computer programming and have an Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences with a technical or vocational major from a Council for Higher Education (CHEA)-recognized organization and want to complete a bachelor’s degree, our Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) program will help your prior academic experience work for you. The average time frame for completing a BAAS degree is two years.
Do I Qualify for This BAAS Program?
Our Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences Information Systems and Programming Design Concentration will help you use your prior academic experience to complete your first bachelor's degree.
You can enter our BAAS Program to earn your bachelor's degree if you are working on your first bachelor's and have at least one of the following:
- Have an Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences (AAS) degree from an institution with accreditation recognized by the Council for Higher Education Accreditation (CHEA)
- Have earned a significant number of credit hours in a career-technical related discipline from an institution with accreditation recognized by the CHEA

Online Learning Format For Programming Design
Our Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences Information Systems and Programming Design Concentration is designed to be completed 100% online. You will complete readings and tests throughout the semester. Recorded lectures via Mediasite will connect you with professors and other students. Student participation, using Mediasite and Blackboard, related to recorded lectures is done on your own schedule, rather than during a specific time.

At ENMU we want to make sure you get the help you need. We offer several tutoring services, including the Online Writing Center (OWL), which is only for distance education students. The OWL is available to help you improve your writing and help you clearly communicate for written, school related projects and assignments. BAAS Concentration: Information Systems and Programming Design
The BAAS program requires you to complete 120 hours to earn your bachelor's degree. Within those 120 hours, you must complete a primary concentration and a secondary concentration.
As a secondary concentration, Information Systems and Programming Design requires 25-32 hours of coursework and includes the following courses:
