The ENMU Band Director Workshop, The New Mexico Thing, is annual event sponsored by the ENMU Bands, ENMU Student Fees Board, and the National Band Association. An esteemed clinician visits campus and presents classroom and performance sessions for ENMU music students and current band directors from across the state and region.
This event provides mid-semester inspiration for band directors as they prepare for NMMEA and UIL concert performance assessments. A letter certifying attendance is provided to each workshop attendee.
