In our digital electronics engineering technology program, you will gain advanced knowledge in digital design, digital electronics, and computer architecture and design. The knowledge and hands-on experience gained in the Bachelors of Applied Arts and Sciences with an electronics engineering technology (digital) concentration, equips you for a job with companies like Lockheed Martin, Raytheon and ONCOR. If you have an Associate of Applied Arts and Sciences (AAS) with a technical or vocational major from a Council for Higher Education-recognized organization, we offer two concentration areas in electronics engineering technology (digital and analog) as part of our Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS). The average time frame for completing a BAAS degree is two years.

Learning Digital Electronics Engineering Technology

Our Bachelor of Applied Arts and Sciences (BAAS) concentration in digital electronics engineering is designed to be completed online. You’ll be completing assignments, readings, labs, tests and projects throughout the semester. Recorded and live lectures via Mediasite and Blackboard will connect you with professors and other students at your convenience, rather than during a specific time. In this program, you have the option to take all classes online or a combination of online and in-person. Our program is designed with the working professional in mind.

Advising for Electronics Engineering Technology

When you join our program, we want to make sure you have all the resources and advice you need to successfully complete your studies at Eastern. To do this, we offer advising via phone or email. We look forward to working with you!

Digital Electronics Engineering Technology Resources and Academic Help

At ENMU, we want to make sure you get the help you need. We offer several tutoring services, including the Online Writing Center (OWL), which is exclusively for distance education students. The OWL is available to help you improve your writing and help you communicate clearly for written, school-related projects and assignments. We also have online databases, journal articles and eBooks accessible through the Golden Student Success Center. Since ENMU has a dedicated distance education librarian on staff, you’ll always have the help you need to take advantage of library resources.

As an electronics engineering student, you’ll find your textbooks, lab manuals and lectures will answer many of your questions. We also have teaching assistants (TAs) assigned to each course who can help you with course specific questions. For questions and concerns you can’t find in the course material, you can always email or call your professor.

EET Scholarships and Financial Assistance

ENMU is committed to helping you finance your education. You can get information about admissions scholarships and find out why more than $22 million in financial assistance was awarded to ENMU students last year. Once you are an enrolled ENMU student, you’ll have access to even more scholarships.
