She is the daughter of supervillain Calvin Zaboo better known by Mister Hyde, and is a secret agent for S.H.I.E.L.D.

She has seismic (earthquake-producing) powers which she can target with pinpoint accuracy. Johnson is also trained in hand-to-hand combat, and is an excellent marksman.

Johnson is taken under the wing of Nick Fury (S.H.I.E.L.D.’s director). While working for this agency she is granted “Level 10” security clearance, being one of the only agents to have such a high ranking. The only others that share her security clearance are Nick Fury and Natasha Romanova (Black Widow).

One of her better known actions was when she helped defeat Magneto (a powerful mutant leader with magnetic abilities) by sending vibrations into his brain to make him lose consciousness.

When civil war begins amongst the heroes in the Marvel Universe she is seen working with Fury. He gives her orders to recruit descendants of villains and heroes in an attempt to assist him with the threat against the imposing Skrulls (a race of extraterrestrial shapeshifters) and their invasion.

This leads her to becoming one of the field leaders.

She has been seen alongside Tigra, Wonder Man, and the Vision.

Johnson has recently had an increase in popularity due to the television show “Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D” where she is one of the main characters. Within this one she is known originally as “Skye,” a computer hacker that gets recruited by Phil Coulson, Fury’s right hand man in most situations. In this interpretation of her the writers have combined several of her back stories – creating a whole new version of her. She is portrayed actress Chloe Bennet.
