Dawg Days 2018 is happening from Aug. 18-20! The new student orientation's events are led by Dawg Days counselors.

Tessa Schwalm

Team: Red

Major: Wildlife and Fisheries Sciences

Classification: Junior

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: August 2016. I love all the energy that everyone had on stage; they were all so nice and fun to talk to and helped me feel ready for college. 

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: I'm so excited to meet all the new freshmen and have fun with my team and other counselors! 

Alejandro Torres

Team: Pink

Major: Criminal Justice and Sociology

Classification: Junior

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: Fall 2016. Paint party because I love dancing.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: Meeting all the new freshman and showing them how fun college can be.

Alexis Rodriguez

Team: Blue

Major: Biology Pre-Med

Classification: Sophomore

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: Fall 2017. My favorite part was seeing how hyped and excited the counselors were throughout Dawg Days!

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: I'm excited to meet the incoming freshman and show them what it means to be a Greyhound!

Wesley Malcolm

Major/Minor: Health and Physical Education with an emphasis in a Health and Wellness, Minor in Coaching 

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: My freshman Dawg Days was in 2016. I really liked how everyone was welcoming and friendly, and how it helped get me accompanied to the college life. 

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: This year I am looking forward to  welcoming the incoming freshman and helping them with whatever questions they have. 

Jorge Ortiz

Team: Green

Major: Biological Anthropology

Classification: Junior

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: August 2016. My favorite part of Dawg Days is the activities fair. You get to see what is there to get involved in and that where you meet your lifelong friends! For me, I got involved in Greek life because of the activities fair.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: My favorite parts of Dawg Days are the goofy dances and meeting the new freshmen. I want the freshmen to know that college is a great life experience. I want them to get involved in anything that we have to offer.

Megan Long

Major: Elementary Education

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: August 2017. When the freshmen went up on the stage and did activities and won prizes.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: Getting people excited for the next semester as a college student and showing them around.

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: 2017. The hypnotist because it's something I had never seen before.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: The dancing because I enjoy music.

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: 2017. Seeing all the dances.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: Meeting new freshman and getting people accustomed to the school! Why? I was nervous about coming to ENMU and Dawg Days helped a lot, so I'm excited to help others.

Sara Connelly

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: Transfer student during the superhero-themed Dawg Days in 2015. Seeing how easy it was to be involved at ENMU.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: I'm most excited for move-in day and the BBQ because it is so exciting to see how excited all the freshman are to come to college!

Giovanna "Gia" Calderara

Major: Culinary Arts

Classification: Sophomore

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?:  Fall 2017. My favorite part was the group activities because they helped all the freshmen bond and get to know each other.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: I'm excited to get to know the new freshmen and help them through their first college experience.

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: August 2016. My favorite part was definitely the activities held throughout the day to get the freshmen involved.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?:  I'm excited to meet the new freshmen because now it's my turn to give back to the school and the upcoming classes what was given to me when I first started at Eastern.

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: Fall 2016. Paint party because it was fun dancing and singing along with new and old friends.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: Most excited to meet all the freshman and help them with anything they may need.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: Meeting new freshman and getting to know new people. Why? I was nervous about coming to ENMU and Dawg Days helped me feel comfortable and not afraid to try new things.

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: My Freshman Dawg Days was in fall 2015. I really loved how friendly and helpful everyone on campus was; it made it a lot easier to get adjusted to college life.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: This year I am most excited to meet all of the incoming Freshman and help give them the same experience I received! 

Morgan Hudson

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?:  Fall 2017 was my Dawg Days. I remember all of the enthusiasm and positivity the counselors had, which made my experience amazing.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: I'm most excited for helping all of the freshmen feel comfortable and ready for college.

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: Fall 2017. My favorite part was getting to meet new people and having fun activities to do with my friends.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?:  I'm most excited for the opportunity to help incoming freshman adapt to a new environment, and to be part of the team that makes a first great impression on these freshman.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: Showing the freshman that Eastern can be fun. Helping them relax into college life.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: I'm excited to meet new people and excited about the dancing we have planned.

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: Fall 2017. My favorite part of Dawg Days was getting to know the existing people because then you feel comfortable.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: I'm most excited about the dances because it will be fun and memorable.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: I'm most excited about being able to network to the new incoming freshman and lead them through Dawg Days. Also, to be able to keep in contact with them through the year to see how their semesters are going and show them what Eastern is all about.

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: Fall 2017. My favorite part was getting to freestyle on stage! Everyone knew me as that guy.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: I'm excited to show people what a great school ENMU is...oh, and more freestyling.

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: I'm excited to meet new incoming students and make sure that they feel as welcome as possible. Also to make sure that they are excited about becoming involved students on campus. This is important for me because I've been to a large school where I didn't get involved when I should have, and it led to me getting bored with school.

When was your Dawg Days? What was your favorite part?: Fall 2017. The final performance by the counselors because of their enthusiasm and all of the fun they were having. 

Which part of Dawg Days 2018 are you looking forward to the most?: I'm excited to help everyone out while having fun at the same time.
