If you have a sound mathematical background and are interested in solving problems pertaining to the design, analysis, and implementation of computer software, you should major in computer science (CS). You can complete an ENMU computer science degree in four years, but if you have additional commitments to work and/or family, your time frame may be longer.

Because our computer science classes are small, you'll get plenty of personal attention; having direct access to the faculty will be a benefit for you as you move through the program. Additionally, the computer science curriculum is under continual revision to keep pace with the rapid technological changes and advances that affect this discipline. Our computer science faculty are committed to responsible academic advising, so you'll know what courses to take and when to take them.
Scholarships and Financial Assistance
If you are majoring in computer science at ENMU, you should apply for financial aid which gives you the opportunity to get grants, loans and work-study. Additionally, ENMU offers admissions scholarships which are awarded based on your SAT and/or ACT scores and can, in many cases, be continued for several semesters. There are also additional scholarships you can apply for once you are an ENMU student.
