Points to Ponder: You won't just survive your first semester at Eastern New Mexico University–you'll flourish. Several University programs are in place to help you adjust to college life and academics.
Our Freshman Seminar offers you the chance to become familiar with all aspects of the University: the academic, social and common-sense dimensions of college life. These three-credit courses focus on everything from enhancing writing skills and navigating Golden Student Success Center to examining University history and traditions.
As you begin your college life, you may find that some subjects are more difficult than you imagined. You may also need help preparing for exams. When that happens at Eastern, you can turn to our FREE tutoring services, work one-on-one or in small groups with trained tutors to get the extra help you need.
Throughout your time as undergraduate, you will find many helpful hands to help guide you on the search for the right path. Academic advisers assist in selecting courses, exploring academic options, and evaluating each your interests. This is an ongoing conversation that happens throughout your ENMU career, constantly evaluating your goals, options, and passions.

My favorite spot on campus would have to be the new Golden Student Success Center. This is my new favorite spot because I have the opportunity to study with friends, take advantage of the resources offered, and meet and collaborate with new people, all while enjoying a warm cup of coffee.
Why I Love Being an ENMU Greyhound:
I love being an ENMU Greyhound because the campus is full of opportunity. Everywhere you look Eastern offers an abundance of opportunities to get involved, receive help and to succeed. The friendliness of the campus combined with the small class sizes ensures that you will see and interact with familiar faces, along with meet new people and create friendships.
