All three PBS stations in New Mexico, including KENW-TV, which broadcasts from the Eastern New Mexico University-Portales campus, in conjunction with the New Mexico Department of Education will be broadcasting teaching lessons created by Albuquerque Public Schools for four hours per day every weekday, starting on April 6 from 8 a.m.- 12 p.m. The lessons will air on KENW's 3-2 channel.
The school district is creating hour-long lessons for kindergarten through fifth grades, including a sign language interpreter and some Spanish-speaking classes.
