Top 5 Places to Study at ENMU

With the Golden Library undergoing a renovation, students may be looking for a new space to hit the books. Here are the top 5 places to study on campus that aren't the library:

  1. University Computer Center (UCC) Room 109

This quiet space offers all the essentials that the library has: high-speed internet, access to printers, and up-to-date software on all computers. Group projects, as well as individual studying, are accessible to all ENMU students.

They are open during the following times:
    Monday–Thursday: 7 a.m.–midnight
    Friday: 7 a.m.–5 p.m.
    Saturday: Noon–9 p.m.
    Sunday: Noon–midnight

  2. College of Business (COB) Room 126

Although smaller than the UCC, the COB computer lab is a great place to stop in for those last-minute study sessions. There is also a printer in the lab which makes it the perfect place to print off assignments before class without the hassle of walking to the library. It's usually fairly empty and even has a stapler for those finishing touches.

  3. Jack Williamson Liberal Arts Building (JWLA)

Tables and couches are set up in JWLA, making it convenient and comfortable for all of you study needs. Printers and computers are not available, but the study area is conveniently located next to the University Writing Center. There are also many outlets that make it easy to use your laptop. Zime, a modern bakery/café is also located in JWLA, providing the perfect refreshments to keep you going.

  4. Education Building (ED)

High-top tables and chairs along with Brewed Awakening, a "Starbucks We Proudly Serve" coffee shop, provides the ideal space for group studies. What better place to review, plan group projects and drink your favorite coffee than here? Located in the middle of campus this is the perfect meeting point for anyone. It is generally very quiet as well.

  5. Campus Union Building (CUB)

The CUB provides services to the entire campus community, including a coffee shop, a World of Wings restaurant, and seating areas with meeting spaces. Although there is no printer, there are computers that are available to use. The biggest downfall of studying here would be the high traffic it experiences daily.
