There will be 920 candidates for associate, bachelor and master degrees at Eastern New Mexico University's spring commencement at 10 a.m. on Saturday, May 13, in Greyhound Arena in Portales.

The commencement speaker will be Dr. Steven Gamble, ENMU president since 2001 who is stepping down as president on June 30.

Following commencement, Alumni Affairs is hosting a reception in the Greyhound Arena South Gym for all graduates, their family and friends.

The Honors Convocation Breakfast is at 7:45 a.m. on May 13 in the Campus Union . The breakfast celebrates the accomplishments of honor graduates. Tickets are $6.75 each (and must have been reserved by May 5) by calling Amanda Delgado at 575.562.2221 or emailing [email protected]. ENMU faculty members can receive one free ticket each.

All events except the breakfast are free and open to the public.
