I enjoy working with the students

Q. What were you doing before you came to ENMU, and what other jobs have you held?

I worked as a SNAP Specialist for the New Mexico Works program. I was also a preschool teacher for many years.

Q. Where were you born, raised, and what was your life like growing up?

I was born in Upper Heyford, England, and lived in Neunkirchen, Germany, until my dad was stationed at Cannon AFB. My dad was military, and my mother is a dental assistant.

Q. Tell us about your own family?

I am married and have three boys: ages 9, 6 and 1.

Q. What are your hobbies?

Reading, and watching my children play sports.

Q. What gives your life meaning? Besides career goals, what else do you hope to accomplish?

My children. I hope to accomplish raising thoughtful, kind and driven young men.

Q. What is your general impression of Portales, and ENMU?

I love Portales, and I also love ENMU. I think the people are friendly and welcoming in both the town and university.
