Articulation of Transcripts and Certifying Graduation Applications Transcript Requests for Students

Q. What have you enjoyed most about your job, and what have been the biggest challenges?

What I have enjoyed the most is meeting new people and being introduced to what the Registrar department does and seeing what a big and crucial part it is to higher education. One of the challenges I've encountered is just learning the ins and outs of all the daily processes.

Q. What were you doing before you came to ENMU, and what other jobs have you held?

Before ENMU, I was employed at Clovis Community College in the Financial Department. Other jobs I have held have been construction and I was a student employee in Golden Library from 2008-2011

Q. What are your degrees and majors, and what activities did you participate in college?

I have a bachelors in history with a minor in coaching. As for activities I participated in college, I did not due to being a non-traditional student.

Q. Where were you born, raised, and what was your life like growing up?

I was born in Tucumcari and was raised in Southwest Kansas.

Q. Tell us about your own family?

I am happily married and have four wonderful children

Q. What are your hobbies?

My hobbies include officiating high school basketball, football and softball. I also enjoy coaching my traveling softball team

Q. What is your ultimate career goal?

My ultimate career goal is to earn my master's degree and continue in higher education

Q. What gives your life meaning? Besides career goals, what else do you hope to accomplish?

My family and my faith gives me my life meaning for without a strong foundation one cannot grow

Q. What is your general impression of Portales, and ENMU?

My impression of ENMU IS GREAT!! It is where I graduated from and hope to continue to better my professional career. As for my impression of Portales, I like the small town atmosphere. It's like the song from Cheers, where everybody knows your name!!!

"Water the Flowers, Not the Weeds"--a saying that I strive to incorporate in my daily life.
