Introducing the ENMU Reads Summer Reading Program

As you know, ENMU recognizes the value of reading and education! We are excited to share that our University has teamed with 32 different libraries around the state of New Mexico with our new ENMU Reads Summer Reading Program. ENMU Reads offers recommendations for books that young Greyhounds should consider reading to keep them engaged throughout the summer to help support education in the state of New Mexico.

This program will connect with young readers by providing certificates and bookmarks to participants, and will be presenting virtual learning opportunities offered by ENMU faculty and staff, including subject area discussions, concerts, storytimes, and tours of Blackwater Draw and KENW-TV studios.

We invite you to join ENMU this summer as we help support education and reading around the state of New Mexico. Please check enmu.edu/ENMUReads to see if your local library has partnered with ENMU for this summer reading program. Also, you can find the schedule of educational programming for every age group on our ENMU Reads Facebook page.

Additional information and recommended book lists are available at enmu.edu/ENMUReads. Please share our Facebook page to help get the word out about this excellent opportunity to celebrate and encourage young readers!
