PORTALES, NM – June 30, 2021 – Military Times, an independent news resource for veterans, selected Eastern New Mexico University as a Best For Vets College for 2021. ENMU was one of 366 schools in the United States to earn this recognition.

Each year, Military Times sends a survey to colleges across the nation to learn about their services and programs for veterans. The results are analyzed and public data about colleges and universities obtained from the Department of Education and Department of Veterans Affairs. The Military Times Best for Vets: Colleges is the largest and most comprehensive school ranking for military service members and veterans, with over 10 years of consistent publication.
Eastern New Mexico University also currently holds a Military Friendly® designation for providing excellent service to veteran military personnel, active-duty personnel, spouses and dependents, National Guard and Reserves members, and survivors of disabled or deceased veterans.
