Vaccination Clinic Scheduled for ENMU Staff and Students

PORTALES, NM – Aug. 5, 2021 – Eastern New Mexico University continues to prepare for re-opening in the fall semester with a free COVID-19 vaccination clinic for students, faculty and staff on Monday, Aug. 9, starting at 9 a.m. in the Pecos Room at the Campus Union (CUB).

La Casa ENMU Student Health Services is providing the Moderna and Pfizer vaccines. Those interested in receiving either one can pre-register at www.enmu.edu/Vaccine or call the La Casa at 575.562.2321.

While the University has not instituted a vaccine mandate for students or employees, it encourages vaccinations and requires masks to be worn by all individuals if they are in any indoor group setting, including classrooms. ENMU also requires unvaccinated individuals to wear masks outdoors when unable to socially distance. COVID-vaccinated individuals are not required to wear masks outdoors.

Eastern New Mexico University continues to prioritize the health and safety of our community and of New Mexicans as we look forward to an in-person fall semester.
