PORTALES, NM — This Valentine's Day, Eastern New Mexico University is offering a symphony for the senses. The ENMU Departments of Culinary Arts and Music invite the community to "Just Desserts," an all-you-can-sample fundraising gala on Saturday, Feb. 14, from 6-8 p.m.
Held in the ENMU Food Science Building, the event blends the sophisticated sounds of live jazz with an expansive menu of gourmet sweets. Whether you are treating a special someone to sweet treats or just gathering with friends, the evening promises a high-end culinary experience for a meaningful cause.
"Just Desserts" isn't just about the sugar; it's about the students. All proceeds from the event directly benefit the ENMU Departments of Culinary Arts and Music. These funds provide vital support for student opportunities, including guest artist residencies, specialized workshops, and professional development programs.
Tickets are now available for purchase online at enmu.edu/JustDesserts. General admission is $25 per person, or $20 for ENMU students and active military. Ticket purchases are payable through cash, check, or credit card. Credit payments will be accepted online or at the door.

Signature Cakes: From classic black forest and Italian cream to a sophisticated red velvet featuring blackberry-cream cheese whipped frosting.
Gourmet Cheesecakes: A variety of rich flavors are available, including raspberry, snickers, tiramisu, and turtle.
Artisan Cream Puffs: Featuring mascarpone whipped cream with coffee-chocolate drizzles, a variety of drizzles, and dulce de leche fillings.
