One of our own Greyhounds received an award given by the Kennedy Center American College Theater Festival!

Mahault Lebrun (BA 26), an international student from France, was on her way home for winter break when she heard the news. She was recognized for her hard work and excellence in lighting design for ENMU Theater's production of This Girl Laughs, This Girl Cries, This Girl Does Nothing.

"I was sleeping in the theater. That's how much I worked for it. This award means that it's worth it for me to keep doing what I am doing." Mahault says.

Mahault graduated this spring and is continuing her work in theater as a Master of Fine Arts candidate in Theater Design with a focus in lighting at Texas Tech, saying, "I want to still be a theater kid because that is my life. I love it so much."

Congratulations Mahault on your Kennedy Center award and your future endeavors. Greyhounds following their passions make us so proud!
